Anatomy of a Wedge

Good morning! I hope that you are all having a great week so far. I have been a busy bee so far this week, but I take delight in it. I woke up this morning to the sound of "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero's on my Ipod and knew that it was going to be a good day, and it hasnt let me down yet! What are you up to this week?

I would like to introduce you to the newest members of my closet. My floral skirt sent from my best friend in the entire world, and my buckle wedges from the lovely Nathan. Im so in love with floral pattern..I literally cannot get over it - Im sure a lot of you know what I mean! So when I got this skirt in the mail from Danielle, I knew that it would be perfect with my new wedges, and I love it. These buckle wedges were inspired by Alexa Chungs triple buckle flat that I have been dying to get for a while - but could never find them. So I decided to get some buckle wedges..and these are so cute!

Last night Nathan and I watched Slum Dog Millionaire. I feel like I will never get over that movie! I have seen it a few times now and every single time I fall more in love with it. There is a few things that I absolutely love about it..the little boy who plays Jamal in the beginning, because he is SO cute! The videography, especially on the train scenes, and how cute I think Jamal is when hes older too. Hes just all around cute! And the movie was 10 x better because Nathan got me some rootbeer to drink while we watched. Rootbeer probably doesnt seem like that big of a deal to most people, but when I used to drink it all the time in Canada, and then came to Australia where they dont sell it, I went through a bit of withdrawls. Luckily, Nathan found a video store (random!) that sells A&W rootbeer down the road, but for $3 a can. Its a bit of a splurge, but I dont mind spending 3 dollars on the tasiest soda ever!

Hope you have a terrific rest of your week. Kisses. x

  19. Ahhhh florals. I looooove florals. Today I made the decision to get this cute romper in black instead of the floral pattern. It was a big day for me. But I did come away with a floral (reversible! stripes on the other side) dress, so maybe it was a step forward, a step back :D

Love your shoes! Yay for amazing friends and bfs who treat you :) You look beautiful xoxo

Haha older guys, Simon was my first and last older crush until I met my David. Also 6 years older. But I wasn't one to date older guys in school at all; not even the year above me :) Hehe. Just a fun fact for you.
