To Clog, Or Not To Clog?

So for the past few weeks, I have seen sandal clogs on so many blogs and websites, and I thought to myself "Yeah, thats great, but I could never pull it off" THEN 3 days ago, something happened. I was walking down the street, and I passed a tiny boutique that low and behold, behind a few scarves and purses, sat the perfect pair of black wooden sandal clogs. My first reaction was "Your beautiful..but I just cant do it. I cant pull you off!", so I hesitated, then I went home and I thought about it overnight and couldnt get these clogs out of my head. I went back the next day and tried them on and tried to think of all the reasons of why I wouldnt want to buy these beauties, they were so cute...but I still questioned it. So I thought "Why not ask some fellow bloggers?" So what do you guys think about clogs? Yay or Nay?

  1. OMG. Buy them! They're beautifulllll. I wish I could find some low clogs! All the ones I've seen are superrr high which is why I thought I couldn't pull them off! I'm SURE you'll rock 'em. And, if you don't think so...think of it this way...won't you LOVE the CHALLENGE to rock them? ;)

  2. Your right Erika! I will definately love the clog challenge. Your love for them is making my love for them grow more. This is a good sign.

  3. Absolutely! Do it! You'll be able to wear them up until winter, and they're classic, so they'll be a staple in your wardrobe. :)

Umm.. And I wanted to say thank you for what you wrote on my blog. Thank you seems insufficient, but you wrote exactly what I needed to hear. Words can't express it, so just "thank you".

  4. THESE clogs? Oh, YES! They are not the old, clunky, blocky clogs we all grew up knowing...these are so adorable. If I were you, I would definitely get them...plus a good shopping rule I hold for myself if I am unsure about buying something: If I can walk away and not miss it, then it's not really a necessary purchase. But of I can't get it out of my head for a few days, then I know I must really like it and therefore it isn't a hasty, irresponsible buy. It sounds like you really like these, and will therefre get good use out of them!

  10. I believe you can pull it off, don't worry. Just slip on a long maxi dress (laced ones will be great as seen here - http://www.bonadrag.com/shopmain/bags/charlie-platform-clogs-black.html) or take it from here (http://mamasarollingstone.com/trend-report-clogs/) Think tights + a cute short dress or boyfriend jeans + blazer + tee.

    You will definitely rock this.

  17. Hey! Ok, those clogs are cool! I have my opinions about clogs, and basically, the more classic they are, the less you have to lose. I mean, who doesn't love a classy open-toed clog? They're like espadrilles or saltwater sandals, they never go out of style. Besides, they look cool with pretty much everything. And you're in Australia. Kate + Australia + clogs = pretty dang good. xo!

  18. I don't really like the legit clogs I'm seeing around, but the sandal versions are super cute! They're so vintage and classy, but not too dress so you can really wear them with anything. I'd say, go for it! It'll force you to be creative with styling them. Do it, get the clog sandals! :D

  19. i have to admit that initially thought that clogs are just one of those trends that would easily go out of style but the new designs coming out are just amazing...i especially love the high platform ones!

as for you, with your versatile style, you can easily pull off anything!
