Pin Striped Beach Bum

Today was glorious! I slept in, went on a beautiful walk with my parents and saw a Koala in a tree (this is very exciting! I had never seen a Koala!), got a delicious smoothie and headed out grocery shopping with my Mommy. On the way home we stopped in a little swim shop on the street, and this bathing suit caught my eye. Anyone who knows me knows that I hate bathing suits. I get so self concious, so the fact that I am even posting these pictures on this blog of me in this bathing suit is a miracle, but I just had to show you - its SO cute. It reminds me of the 1950s...in the best way possible. Finally, a bathing suit that I dont mind wearing! The rest of the day was spent laying on the beach in this beauty soaking up the beautiful rays.

Tonight my Dad is making dinner for us, which I am very excited about. I havent had a dinner cooked by my parents in a long time, and nothing is better than a home cooked meal! True?

The rest of the evening will probably involve more walking, lemon sorbet, and late night TV shows (Criminal Minds..yes!) Hope you all are having an amazing week so far. x

    You look fantastic, I do like that retro bathing suit style. And I love looking at koalas, they are soooo cute! I wish I had time to hold one when I was last in Australia, they looked so snuggable!

    Your pictures are so vibrant! What sort of camera do you use? I love the ruffles at the bottom of the suit and I wish it was summer again! I miss the beach. :D

    I use a Canon XTi Rebel. Ive been using it everyday for the past three years, its such a beauty. I do some editing in different programs to give them the color. The cameras a gem though. x

    lovely bathers!!! also if you ever get a chance you MUST hold a koala, heehee they are quite cuddly. i know those sort of things (photos at wildlife parks with koalas being passed around to people) aren't entirely cruelty free but gosh I do love them.
