winterized romper

There came a time a few months ago when I broke my clothing's hearts and unpacked them from my Australian suitcase and immediately folded them and put them into the very very back of my wardrobe. "Sayonara amigos!" and that was the end of it. Inspired by a beautiful blogging friend, Alana, I decided to rid them of their closet darkness and bring them back into the light. Whoever said that rompers dont work in winter is a bit off their rocker, and needs to come back down to earth..quick! In saying that...I gave myself the biggest challenge since my favorite romper screams summer and even I cant deny that..but when suited with darker colors, boots and scarves, I think you are good to go. (take that, fashion rule!)

Hope you are all having a wonderful week. I have been working, hanging out with family and friends, and eating a ridiculous amount of sushi....but whats new right? Thats my week, every week. Hugs xo

*Thank you for all your sweet comments on yesterdays post. You made my brothers cheeks light up into a shade of pink. He loved all the comments. And yes, that was my brother, not my boyfriend!!

  10. I actually really like florals in the fall/winter. It's such a nice contrast and so cheerful amongst all the black and layered looks that are going around. I can't wait to see this romper in the spring with some bobby socks and a cute sandal hehe!

  14. You look so cute and comfy. I especially like the roomier paired with the taupe from your scarf. Though I can imagine it would get annoying to peel off all the layers to use the bathroom. Hehe.

  20. I wear almost all my summer clothes in winter. Purple tights under shorts, camisoles layered over long-sleeve tops, and a lot of cardigans with light dresses. My favourite pieces are usually summer ones, so it only makes sense!

  34. I really need to try that! Luckily, it's sort of warming up, so I've pulled myself away from the idea of "winter" dressing, but I've been delaying wearing rompers sent to me late in the season since they weren't "appropriate". Shame on me!
