The Velvet Underground

Happy Tuesday from Australia, love bugs. I hope you all had an amazing weekend. My weekend was busy, busy, busy. Lovely times filled with good wine, good friends, delicious cakes and hot wings. I had a birthday party on Sunday night, and I hosted a goodbye party (I was so stressed about it - but it turned out great!) last night for my room mate Heather and her lovely husband-to-be. Such a good weekend! What did you guys do?




This is one of my favorite dresses, ever. About 6 months I became obsessed with velvet. I dreamed of my entire closet being filled with velvet. I wanted velvet booties, capes, jackets, cardigans, pants, tights, shorts. You name it. The perfect item from 'velvet world' never came to me though - but all good things come to those who wait, and here it is, my favorite delightful velvet black dress.



I have loved reading all of your super sweet comments about the ship tour that I am going on. You girls are so lovely. I am getting so excited about it. Its definitely not going to be a luxury cruise, and my packing and space is very small, so its going to be interesting - but its all part of the adventure, true? Hope you girls are having a good start to your week. I did a workout video at the crack of dawn this morning by Jillian Michaels. Man, that girl sure puts you to work! Walking back to my house this morning was almost torture, I felt like my legs were going to break off. Its SUCH a good feeling though to work out in the morning. I need to do it more! I recommend you check out her video...its a good one! :)
