"I am not complete"

When I heard from a friend that we were doing a goodbye party for another pal, and we had to dress up as our favorite movie character, it took me about 20 seconds to come to the conclusion that I couldnt be anyone else other than my beloved Edward Scissor Hands.

He has always been my favorite movie character, I cry everytime I see it - and I think he is the dreamiest. I remember watching the movie with my best freind Danielle and we were both weak in the knees for Edward. He is so so nice.

So, it was fun dressing up as him! I must admit that I got a few awkward stares from people while walking from my house to work, and throughout my work place (I dont know how people have never seen Edward or dont know who I was being!)

Its Friday today - so thankful..Im ready for the weekend! Have a good one! x

  2. Haha this is such a cool outfit idea! You'd probably be arrested if you had more lethal scissor like Edward!

  3. This is the cutest thing ever! I love Edward Scissorhands, it's such a beautiful film, Johnny Depp was amazing and the score was eerily beautiful and haunting.

I hope you find a pair of scalloped shorts! Hehe boyfriend shirt Thursdays are fun! I like oversized shirts anyways and wearing my boyfriend's shirt just makes my day more fun! :)

  5. Aw, like a female version of Edward Scissorhands! I remember that always being a popular choice during Halloween (well, duh); I once saw a guy walking around in his full regalia one year. You're a very stylish Edward though, aren't you? And prolly a bit safer, since your scissors look more kid-proof! :) Love the vampy look with the lips and hair.

  7. Hahaha, what a cute and fun idea -- you make a good Edward Scissorhands (or as we like to call him around here, the Original Dreamy Edward -- ODE). I adore your sense of fun! I wish I could've gone to that party!

  8. How fun! I would be terrible as Edward...mostly because I am so clumsy that I don't think I would even be able to walk out my room with scissors without hurting someone!

  22. so so good!

It's scary-funny how many pop culture icons are, well, apparently not as popular as we want to believe. I overheard someone say "who's David Bowie" while looking at a Labyrinth poster and my eyes bugged out. Probably mostly because she pronounced his name like "buoy" ;/
