you're beautiful.

Good morning :) Today is a bit more productive than yesterday...I am excited that it is Friday - and tomorrow I will get to sleep in a little bit. My sleeping patterns have been so thrown off this week!



Today I listened to a song that a friend of mine actually wrote about a girl that he knew. This girl had struggled so much with self esteem and identity issues. I realized that this is such a common theme is so many of our lives. Everyday I think "Well maybe if I just looked a bit more like this"...ridiculous. The song was so beautiful though - because it transitioned from this girl looking in magazines and trying to become so many other people - and still never feeling good enough for her boyfriend...but I've been learning so much over this past week that a true attraction should start with the heart and character. We dwell too much on the physical. What someone is like when no makeup is on and noones around is what truly speaks volumes.



Can I just take a minute to encourage every single of one of you that may read this today - you are beautiful. There is noone like YOU on the face of this earth. You are unique, gifted and wonderful. Everyone should be told that everyday. You are fun to be around - you are a joy in the lives of the people you interact with. Remember this always.

Tonight I hope to enjoy a nice meal with a certain special boy...and watch a movie. Any suggestions?
