Alexa Chung x Madewell 2011

Its that time of year again my friends, where the fashion icon Alexa Chung woo's us with her incredibly lovely creations for Madewell. I will admit I am not as smitten with this collection as I was last year, but I am in love with the leather pannelled pea coat, gold shirt and trousers! What do you think about this years collection? Any favorites?

    I seriously love that first dress in lace. I have to agree that last year was better (I'm feeling that way about a lot of fashion, actually) but there are still some things I'm swooning over.

    This may be surprising because I love Alexa but I was expecting the collection to be really ugly.. just because I'm not really a denim girl and from what I knew madewell is in the style of .. anyways.. to get to the point! I think she/they did a great job! I love a lot of it!!

    I really love the use of textures in this collection, but I don't think I could actually wear any of it. Wouldn't flatter my shape at all!
