Every so often I just fall off the face of the blogosphere and have you all wondering when I am going to come back to do a post. A girl with some mystery is always good, right? ;) In reality, there is no mystery, life has just been crazy busy and insane as of late and its hard to get a moment in. Today is my day off though, yippee! I went a bit wild & slept in as late as I could (9:30...wow, go crazy) and relaxed with as much freshly squeezed lemonade and ice cream as one girl could (and I don't even like ice cream!)

I thought today would be the perfect day to show you a new love of mine - these metallic sandals. I have been crushing over metallic sandals for a little while, but finding a great pair has been a bit of a challenge. Luckily they found me, I didn't even have to go looking, and here we are happily in love. What have you all been up to!? Fill a sister in! xx

    Kate! This outfit is spectacular. I love the knit sweater/lace skirt together and those sandals are beautiful.

    I've also been so busy lately that sleeping to 9.30am feels like such a treat, hahaha. I'm pining after my one day off this week on Saturday!

    Everyone always makes fun of my love for cable knit sweaters and they call me a grandma but I actually raid my grandmas closet.. like literally. haha so yea. Love the peach color and the lace skirt is gorgeous. You always look like a watercolor painting! <3

    Hiii. I love your outfit (big surprise there). The mixing of textures is very subtle and nice. I haven't worn a skirt with a shirt untucked for a long long time and you definitely make me want to try it again. And then I'd tuck it in a tiny bit like you've done :)

    Life gets crazy. It's been crazy for me too. I've missed seeing your pretty face as often though :D The chalk squiggles on the ground make these pictures more charming too.
