Is there any better way to get over the Winter blues other than to just dive head first into all Spring has for us? Bright colors, pastels, floral..you catch my drift. Orange is everywhere lately and I began to wonder why I don't own a single orange piece. Then it all came rushing back to me. I hate hated orange. Who would invent such a color? But like most things in my life, I get over it and then soon fall in love..and it didn't take long for me to swallow my pride and give orange a chance. As per usual..I was smitten and here we are. Me and orange, together at last. How have I never had orange lipstick before this weekend? I have no idea....but lets not dwell too much on the past. Things change, people grow (now I am getting so sentimental) but all in all I recommend you all give orange a whirl. Just try it. You don't have to love it, you don't even have to like it, just promise me you will try it?

    OK I just ordered a lipstick that was the exact same color, waited it to arrive for a month, and then lost it. In ONE day! sigh

    Lets talk about how amazing orange lipstick is. I've been playing around with cosmopop by lime crime, and it's sneaking its way up to being my favorite shade!

    I think part of the problem was orange was being styled completely wrong. The only shade I'd ever see in stores was that bright, high-lighter, construction worker orange. Yick. Softer tones like that of your hat are just perfect!!!!!

    it must have been crazy windy for every one today!! it's been ridiculous here for the last 3 days. so glad it's calm now :) but i love the lip color! so pretty. i'm really starting to love orange too. it's always been my son's favorite color. and that cardigan looks ooooooohhhhhhh so cozy!

    When I first heard of orange lipstick, I was all "awhuhhhh what??" Which is silly, because orange is not that far from pink/red and I'm a fan of unconventional lip colors, so.. why not? I like how orange can be interpreted as a more bright coral, like it is here. It's very bright and lovely on you. :)

    All your necklaces are so wonderful together! You look so good in any lipstick Kate dear! I don't think I've tried lipstick (other than when I was a little girl going through my mommy's makeup bag). I'm more of a lipgloss kinda gal, but if there's a orange lipgloss I might give it a chance since you said so hehe<3

    Oh you gorgeous thing! I love all the splashes of bright colour in your outfit. I've come around to orange too. Although I wore this orange top from the new Zara collection to work and people were like, "What colour do you call that? Is it salmon?" NO. It's ORANGE.

    I LOVE ORANGE. It is currently my favorite color besides yellow (yellow is and always will be my ultimate fave). I've really been wanting some orange lipstick but was a little hesitant..
