dreaming of heels

Last night was fun. Nathan and I went with our friends Kate and Trey to a local beach and just sat and talked. I love those kind of nights. When you can sit with a friend and you dont have to speak and its not awkward. Thats one thing I love about Australia. The beaches. Growing up in Canada - I never got to see much of the ocean, and when I did, it wasnt the most pleasing. I dare every single one of you to jump on a plane and come see me in sunny Aus. I will teach you to surf, show you kangaroos, and sit with you at night on a beach to hear the waves. Perfect!

I decided this morning that my mission for this year is to buy a pair of heels and wear them (atleast more than 5 times!)
I have only ever owned heels for certain things such as weddings, graduations, ect. I think maybe in total I have worn heels maybe three times in my whole life. Im very short though, so heels could be a good investment, I just live in fear of walking and falling, or sore feet, or looking foolish - you know the drill. Hopefully soon though, I will find a perfect pair of lovely heels!

My life is nothing too exciting today. In about 3 minutes, I will go make myself a good cup of coffee (thanks Mum and Dad for the starbucks!) and get back to this task of forming a website. Have an amazing rest of your day. Hugs and kisses. x

    You look so adorable with glasses! You have such effortless style, goodness! And wearing heels more often is a resolution of mine, as well! I always LOVE the look of them afterward and I'm learning if you have a GOOD pair they aren't painful!

    I will certainly take you up on your offer! One of my lifelong dreams is to go to Australia. I know a couple of people who live there, and I'd love to see it first hand. My husband and I have even talked about moving there when he finishes his residency, since they always want American doctors.

    Woo cute glasses! Yeah I don't wear heels too often, only my wedges, just because they're cute and very stable and COMFORTABLE :) Love your floral dress, great print!

    I've been to Australia, I went there in 2005. It was a lovely experience, although there were a few bad experiences... sad. I want to go back there and take photos and explore more, I went there with my parents, so you know... the vacation is limited to what they want to do.

    You know, it was a high of 71 or 72 F here today-- and that's CRAZY for where I live at this early in the year. And so the thought of jumping a plane to Australia is just sounds so unattainably WONDERFUL.

    And I love your glasses! I find it funny how back when I was little, I loathed the idea of having really large, thick glasses, but now they're totally in style. :)

    Haha we're total opposites.. I on the other hand rarely wear flats. I recently got two pairs of them and they hurt my feet more than heels do at the end of the day. I guess I just hate my feel having almost direct contact with the ground.

    I totally sympathize about the heels. I have never really worn them, and I don't know how to begin. I don't know HOW to. And I don't know if I WANT to--they hurt me, so very much! But good luck on the perfect pair anyway.

    i have fakie glasses that look like that. i feel like a poser sometimes when i wear them, but i just love them so much, that i think it's ok.
